"The beliefs of Christianity state the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation. Then Jesus will establish His eternal kingdom."
Christinaity is a monotheistic religion, which means belief in one god. They believe that God is: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The one thing that sperates Christianity from other religions is it's belief that Jesus Christ was God on Earth, while others believe he was a prophet. They believe that Jesus was the Messiah and God on Earth himself. Their holy book is the Bible, which they believe is the only authoritive Word of God and was written by man with the Holy Spirit guiding him. The fundamental beliefs of Christianity follows:
God- They have to believe in one God, and one God only.
Trinity- They believe that the essence of God is the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Bible- The Bible consists of the Old and New Testament, and is believed to be God and Jesus' word.
Death and Resurrection of Jesus- Jesus was crucified on the cross, and Christians believe he died for all their sins. They also believe he was resurrected the following Sunday.
Return of Jesus- The Bible says that Jesus will return to judge the living and the dead.
Salvation and Punishment- Christians believe in life after death. People who believe will be forgiven for their sins and saved where the non-believers will be sent to eternal hell.
These beliefs can also be noted in the Apostles'creed, which is:
"I believe in God the Father Almighty,
Maker of heaven and earth.
And in Jesus Christ,
His only Son, our Lord;
Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
Born of the Virgin Mary,
Suffered under Pontius Pilate,
Was crucified, died and was buried.
He descended into hell;
The third day He rose again from the dead;
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;
From there He shall come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
The holy Christian Church,
The Communion of Saints,
the Forgiveness of sins,
The Resurrection of the body,
And the Life everlasting.
Amen."
Christians also follow the ten commandments, which are the rules every Christian must follow. The following link will show you what the ten commandments are: http://www.allabouttruth.org/10-Commandments.htm
